Hello there!

As a passionate advocate for child safety, I bring years of experience and certifications to my work as a Child Passenger Safety Technician Instructor (CPST-I), accredited by the Child Passenger Safety Association of Canada (CPSAC). Additionally, I hold a certification as a Child Passenger Safety Technician from Safe Kids in the United States.

In August 2020, I expanded my skillset by earning my certification as a Canadian Red Cross First Aid Instructor. This complements my commitment to helping families stay safe and informed.

I’m deeply honored to have been named CPSAC’s Member of the Year in 2018—an achievement that reflects my dedication to this vital work.

Before specializing in child passenger safety, I worked as an Early Childhood Educator, which instilled in me a lifelong commitment to supporting families and children. I’m grateful to continue making an impact by empowering parents and caregivers with the knowledge they need to help keep their little ones safe.

Hi I am Mylene, I am your Vancouver Downtown technician. I am registered nurse in critical care and a CPST. My most rewarding job is mothering my children since 2016. It is through a parent education session with Holly that I was first introduced to car seat safety. I have since been keen to help parents keep their child safer while travelling in car. An appointment with me will make you confident with using your car seat safely every time. I offer this service in English and French. We added a new car seat rider to our family 3 y ago. Therefore, I have to balance my family commitments, childcare, full time work and inspections.
