Hey there! I’m Katie, mom to a feisty toddler and an ASL Interpreter. We recently added a our new babe to our family in May of 2023 and we are settling into our life as a family of four.

Previously, I was an ECE focusing on Infant & Toddler care - I’ve always loved getting to work with little ones, and alongside their families. I’m so happy to add CPST to my skillset and continue to support parents in this role.

Being a CPST is a special opportunity that I don’t take lightly, especially as I reflect on how much comfort being able to meet with a technician before my first daughter was born gave me.

On top of this, our Deaf and Hard of Hearing communities lack access to many mainstream services, and having the chance to offer support in a new capacity as a CPST will be a another great chance to collaborate!

My name is Aidan, I have been installing child safety seats since early 2012. I became a Child Passenger Safety (CPS) Educator with the BCAA Traffic Safety Foundation Child Passenger Safety Program in Spring 2013 and then I completed the Child Passenger Safety Technician training with the Child Passenger Safety Association of Canada in Spring 2015.

I currently do all seat checks in the south Willoughby neighbourhood of Milner Heights.
